..thank you for fixing the settings on this site.

as you probably have noticed by now, i have never been astute when it comes to following instructions, or reconfiguring settings,or in any thing for that matter.

yes Ana, i know, 21 years with your Ate, you probably know that i am incompetent with alot of things.

but it does not matter,because you're here. and that i commend myself for.


thank you, for noticing that i was quite morose the last few nights, everytime i check my blogs. that you felt, how it is not to be able to reply or comment in blogs (at least you can feel it coming from another blogger's perspective).

once again, i say "thank you" for telling me, that all i needed to do, was change the comment section into "pop-up window" instead of "embed". thank you for explaining too, that embedding codes can sometimes get really funny when there's something wrong with the cookies.

speaking of cookies, did you like the ones i left for you?

isnt it great that apart from writing you this, i can also get to share those cookies with you.

dear ana, we thought of you

..today.

mama and i amused ourselves at Covent Garden , and did some antique browsing, , buying handcreams and colognes at l'occitane (christmas gifts,LOL),and just general sightseeing.

we had a snack at Ella's Cupcakes, and thought of you.

why the hell not? when the glittering Chocolate chip oreo cupcakes had glitters that reminded us of the baubles you put on your face whenever you feel bored.

mama recounted how since a little girl she always knew you were special.

i filled her in of anecdotes she missed when she was working,and i was your nanny.

lovely that.

it was a nice afternoon of the two of us at that table, but you were definitely there.

we are missing you badly.

i also met this guy called richard bridge today at calumet.

apart from being a handsome young man, he is a talented photographer (check his website).

he gave me some helpful hints about the medium format camera im eyeing.

i gave him some helpful hints about Cebu.

will you tour him for me?

dear ana, the squid

dear ana,

its now 7pm here. and i know its 2 am there.

i wish i could call you.

its an emergency.

i forgot how to cook mama's sizzling squid. and i heard you mastered it already.

its been a very long time since i last cooked it.

today i went to the fishmonger to buy fish for dinner, i saw the freshest juiciest squid.

i knew i had to have it.

i bought a third of a kilo.

then i realized, i vaguely remember how to do it.

i wish i could call you.

not only for the recipe.

but thats a good start.

Dear Ana,

Do you remember what today is? (10,jul?).

This morning, you probably should have woken up quite early, and had a hearty breakfast (or not, depending on your excitement).

Today, you probably felt high and excited even if you havent had a wink of sleep from last night.

Today, you probably ran over and over the things you should have in your carry-all, and ran over them again just in case you missed anything you were supposed to bring.

Today,you probably changed outfit a 100x considering you already had prepared 3 different outfits to choose from to wear for today's travelling.

Today, you, Mama and Roi left the house early just to make sure you get to the airport early enough just to avoid last minute traffic jams, which normally happens on days were travelling.

Today, you probably have taken a hundred pictures by the airport, while you wait for your flight to announce boarding.


This time, you probably are several thousand miles mid-air, and wide awake enjoying the glorious movies for viewing on the plane.


Tonight, i probably would have been so hyped up and going crazy, running over a thousand lists in my head, and changing the sheets at the second bedroom over and over again.


Tonight i wouldnt have gotten any sleep because i would have been excited to meet up with you at heathrow tomorrow.

Would've, could've..


Unfortunately, today was'nt happening. But we know it will,soon.

The good thing is, we had a dress rehearsal in our minds of how this day should have gone through.

And on the day, we will relive July 10 all over again.
