just random updates about myself on my ordinary life.

on the 6'oclock news tonight:
-some islands will be endangered because of the faster pace of melting of the polar ice caps. as of the moment, water levels rise to 3mm a year, but its expected to go up higher than that now.
whats going to happen to coastal areas? whats going to happen to beautiful islands?
whats happening to their inhabitants?
uh oh, swimming lessons anyone?
-julia roberts says she combines motherhood and hollywood singlehandedly.
im not sure julia is really telling the hundred percent truth there.
i can hardly do everything myself (clean,cook and wifely duties) when i dont have children and i dont do hollywood working hours. and i even sleep short hours!
but then, maybe she has better time management than myself.
maybe she doesnt sleep.
at all.
(she's still very beautiful though...walang kakupas-kupas.. )

i opened my purefoods tender juicy hotdog packet today, and had it for a snack. yumm!!!
havent had one in a long time, and when i am homesick, i crave for filipino foods. (i have a freezer full of filipino stuff just for these moments, lol!)
i love it when Filipino stores have real Filipino stuff.
(not Chinese/Japanese/Korean equivalents) ...

helping organize my brother's wedding doesnt help. it makes me miss cebu and my family.
i miss my papa sooo badly.
he was always a source of silent strength for me.

global warming is a serious matter and the consequences are scary. not only the coastal areas will be affected, but the entire planet. it's sad that we really aren't taking global warming seriously.
i like julia roberts, she seems down to earth. =) julia roberts na na ha! naay mga faux vice ganda, high hots kaau. haha.
this is not boring chel uy. after all, we are our everyday thoughts, we are our everyday lives. =) the little things that seem mundane, the thoughts and decisions we make every moment of everyday are what really sums up who we are. =)

maka imagine ko kang julia roberts managing motherhood and hollywood. one, they don't really work all-year round. two, they can bring the kids and the nanny &/or p.a. on set. bisan kana na lang two, workable na baya. so that means, mag artista na lang ta tanan. hahahaha. why am i so bisaya today?

hi ai, here in the UK we take it seriously,we have a proper waste recycing system, and those who have bigger cars will have to offset their carbon footprints (like buying trees for a fee), plus the taxes we pay for environment as in skyhigh=)..but obviously, i can only say for a few people...im not sure about the res of englad...but most people i know are doing their bit...we can campaign by leading by example and adrian and i do that (in our little ways)..=)
global warming is such a big scare for me because i know it will affect alot...so i try to campaign for it too very much so,haha..the news said, the clear immediate effect on the rising levels of the sea are those in coastal areas..us people inland might be experiencing it with typhoons and flooding...they showed a polynesian island nw submereged in ankle-high water--on a normal day...can you imagine if it was rainy season? sad noh?
